Special veggies like snow peas, broccoli, zucchini and  cherry tomatoes and a few culinary herbs. The soil outside is ploughed and prepared before planting. Watering is by drip and also by open channels.

Am also an organic farmer from Dahanu. Mainly Chickoo and other tropical fruits. Am planning a website myself and am inspired by what you have done. Just curious, where do you source your seeds and are they heirloom? Am also looking for kafir lime, thai basil and thai chili. Any sources?

Hi Firdaus nice to know your into organic farming. The Thai herb seeds were given to me by a friend who had brought them with from Thailand. I am sure by now you can mail-order them through the Internet. Most countries like USA, UK and Singapore will be the suppliers.

      Good wishes to you!

  2. So good to see the process and the fields green with produce… 🙂 Wonderful photos xox

    HI DILIP
REALLY IMPRESSED WITH WHAT YOU ARE DOING. IS IT POSSIBLE TO VISIT YOUR FARM? I AM FROM MUMBAI AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I PLAN TO DO.
AND WOULD YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PEA BRINJAL(THAI)

Hi Noel nice of you to appreciate but now the special veggies are no more there due to acute water problems. Except for normal crops are grown.

I am sure you will get more inputs from the Internet as I did.

      Regards and best of luck.
